Grand Szechuan Hotel Vientiane is located a 5-minute drive from both Sanjiang Trade Town and Old China Town. A 10-minute drive brings guests to Wattay International Airport, of which a 24-hour transfers can be arranged for an additional charge.
Rooms are fully furnished and comes with air conditioning, bed linen and hot shower in the private bathrooms. There is also an Executive floor with nonsmoking rooms and suites that overlookst he garden.
The on-site Dongpo Chinese Restaurant serves a variety of Sichuan, Cantonese and Southeast Asian delicacies throughout the day. All rooms are inclusive of a daily buffet breakfast which serves both Asian and international dishes, local coffee, tea and fresh milk.
For in-house entertainment, guests can visit Bronze Swallow Terrace Night Club where they can sample a wide variety of liquors and wine while enjoying a night of karaoke. For those looking for a more quiet morning of exercise, head over to the rooftop swimming pool that stays open all year round. Alternatively, guests can also sit down with a cup of afternoon tea and a game of chess or Mah-jongg with other guests.
The staff at the reception desk can assist guests with any of their needs including transportation, entertainment and tour arrangements. Bicycles can be rent on-site to explore the nearby landmarks including the Night Market by the Mekong River, Chao Anouvong park and Talat Sao Shopping Mall.
